Thermos Smart Lid App Reviews

Had an issue where it was not syncing and only showing the temp. I wanted to have it fixed before vaycay and with reading the reviews I have fixed it. If you are having issues, try deleting the app and redownloding it. You have to set it up again but I think thats what fixed mine. Its a little slow to update with Fitbit but thats a minor detail. I am loving my thermos and would recommend it to everyone. Ive got it covered in stickers from Redbubble.com. Like in my last review of get this over the MyHydrate. That thing sucked. Water got into the battery and it broke. Not worth the hassle to send back.

I was so excited for the water bottle. Got it as a gift to help me to remember to drink more. I was specifically counting on the reminders. I have even set up custom reminders and I get nothing. Have had the bottle for 3 days and have only got one reminder in that entire time. Its 10:41 am and I havent taken a single drink from the bottle all day just to make sure. And nothing. I had to open the app for the reminder. I have the custom setting to remind me every ten minutes to take a sip. Im so disappointed. This app needs a major over haul. As well with several other reviews. It only syncs with my Fitbit app once a day. Which is crazy. So the whole purpose of this bottle is to help you with your hydration goals. And ultimately it doesnt do that at all.

App doesnt work right at all. Of course Im drinking more water, but the app doesnt keep track of it. After drinking 3 bottles worth, my syncd app says Ive only had 2 or 3 sips and only 1-2 oz drank throughout the day.

The app is a good start but needs work. The notifications dont work so it defeats the purpose. Why should I have to log into the app to see where I stand? It should provide push notification updates when you need to drink and Notification Center widget would be a great option as well. I think this is the intent but its not working properly. Further it doesnt seem to sync exactly with Fitbit. Its close, but the ounces seem to be slightly off. Although the bottle isnt 100% accurate (it tells me Ive finished the bottle when there are 3-4oz left), overall Im happy with the ease of tracking my water intake and its close enough. Just fix the issues with the app and Ill be a happy customer. Update: now my bottle wont sync with the app. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it simply doesnt work. Downgraded my rating to 1 star but doesnt even deserve that. I feel like I got ripped off with this product. It has never worked right.

I got this to help me keep track of my water intake. I have been having an issue with drinking my daily amount and thought my love for technology would help me. This is a great concept but I think an update is in order. For the amount you pay for this bottle are a few tweaks that could make it worth the money. One when it tracks the water. I think it should be instant and not when you refill the bottle. Two reminders, I was hoping to get something that would pop up to help me take in more water. I dont always have time to log into the app to see my progress. A few upgrades will go along way. I would love to give 5 stars.

This app has a major problem staying connected in order to sync. Has to be constantly calibrated to read water levels.

I love the bottle because I do drink more but the reminders arent notifications like other apps. You dont see the reminder until you open the app. Also the syncing to the Fitbit is so flaky. It will sync automatically sometimes and other times you have to fight between both apps to get it to sync. A lot of the time it wont update in the Fitbit so I have to manually add it. This bottle is great but the app needs serious work. Also looking at the profile page to add your Fitbit account it tells you to add the account to sync your stats but ends the statement with a ton of ???????

Phenomenal water bottle concept. Okay quality app. Fitbit sync should occur throughout the day and be accurate. Please update this app already for 5 stars!!
